Shane McClanahan tossed 5.1 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out three in Monday's 9-7 loss to the Baltimore Orioles.

McClanahan bounced back nicely after allowing four runs against the Baltimore Orioles on May 18, tossing 5.1 scoreless innings on 84 pitches Monday. He has now held opponents scoreless in five of his last six starts and owns a dominant 1.33 ERA and 0.85 WHIP with 25 strikeouts across 27 innings in five May starts. McClanahan will look to deliver another strong outing for the Tampa Bay Rays in his next scheduled start on Sunday against the Los Angeles Angels.
