Gage Jump to be called up by Athletics

Gage Jump is getting called up by the Athletics according to multiple sources. Jump is expected to take Aaron Civale's spot in the rotation with the veteran likely heading to the injured list. (Jeff Passan on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Jump is one of the top left-handed pitching prospects in baseball and is coming off of a Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week performance with a nine-strikeout, seven-shutout inning performance in his last start. Armed with a fastball that hits 97 mph, Jump has struck out 56 batters in 38 innings at Triple-A Las Vegas. In his first full professional season last year, he went 9-7 with a 3.28 ERA and 131 strikeouts in 112.2 innings between High-A Lansing and Double-A Midland. Civale, who is likely headed to the IL, was scheduled to pitch Sunday against the Yankees, so that job could go to Jump.
