Mike Trout went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two walks, two runs batted in, and a run scored as the Angels defeated the Tigers, 7-1, on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Trout doubled in the first, walked in the fifth, walked in the eighth, then ripped a two-run double in the ninth to cap off the scoring. While his batting average is only .239 through 56 games this season, Trout is tied for seventh in the American League with 13 home runs, is tied for second in runs scored with 41, and is tied for the AL lead with 52 walks.
