Patrick Corbin solid again in no-decision Thursday versus Orioles

by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Fri, May 29th 12:47pm EDT

Blue Jays left-hander Patrick Corbin went five innings and allowed just one earned run in a no-decision Thursday against the Orioles.

Fantasy Impact:

On a night where offense was at a premium, Corbin yielded just four hits and a walk against four strikeouts in his five innings of work. His lone blemish came via a solo home run off the bat of Coby Mayo in the fourth inning, but Corbin certainly pitched well enough to earn a win in an eventual 2-1 Jays victory. The left-hander has been a key addition to a battered Jays rotation since inking a minor league deal, posting a 3.65 ERA through 10 starts. He lines up to take on the Braves in a tough road start on Wednesday.
