Drew Rasmussen allowed five earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four over four innings in Saturday's 14-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.
Fantasy Impact:
Rasmussen turned in his worst start of the season on Saturday, allowing five earned runs. Most of the damage came in the first inning, when he surrendered a one-out single and issued two walks before giving up a grand slam to Wade Meckler. Rasmussen settled in afterward with 1-2-3 second and third innings but allowed another run in the fourth before exiting. He finished May with a 4.13 ERA and 1.20 WHIP while recording 23 strikeouts across 28.1 innings. Rasmussen will look to bounce back in his next scheduled start on Friday against the Miami Marlins.
