Tanner Scott melts down, tagged for three runs vs. Phillies
by Chase Davis | Dodgers Correspondent | Sun, May 31st 12:34pm EDT
Tanner Scott took the loss after allowing three earned runs on three hits while failing to record a strikeout in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Phillies, blowing the save chance.
Fantasy Impact:
After Saturday's loss, Scott now has a 2.19 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and five saves through 26 appearances. He was used in the eighth inning, with three of four batters being lefties, and couldn't get the job done. He gave up a single before recording the first two outs. He then gave up another single to Bryce Harper, leading to a three-run homer off the bat of Edmundo Sosa, his third of the season. Scott has been dominant this season, so a rough outing was bound to happen. He's only allowed a run, earned or unearned, in three of 26 appearances.
