Tanner Gordon lasts only three innings Sunday
by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Sun, May 31st 9:23pm EDT
Tanner Gordon went only three innings on Sunday and allowed four runs on six hits, walked one, and struck out two as the Rockies were hammered by the Giants, 19-6.
Fantasy Impact:
After allowing just a run on six hits in five innings against the Dodgers in his first start of the season on Monday, Gordon struggled against the Giants on Sunday in suffering his first loss of the year. He's pitched to a 5.63 ERA in his two starts, allowing five runs on 12 hits in eight innings. In seven relief outings, Gordon has a 6.59 ERA but does have a respectable 30:6 K:BB ratio in 27.1 innings. If he does remain in the rotation, he's lined up to face the Brewers on Saturday.
