Zac Gallen suffers loss Wednesday

by David Leisering | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Thu, Jun 4th 6:47am EDT

Zac Gallen allowed five runs - four earned - on nine hits across five innings on Wednesday as the Diamondbacks suffered a 7-0 loss to the Dodgers.

Fantasy Impact:

Gallen walked two and struck out a season-low one batter, giving him just three strikeouts over his last two starts. He also allowed a two-run homer to Kyle Tucker in the second and has now served up four home runs over his last two starts, and 11 for the season. Gallen has a 7.07 ERA over his last seven starts and his 5.32 season ERA in the second-worst in the National League among qualified starters, trailing only Philadelphia's Aaron Nola (5.55). Gallen gets the Marlins in his next scheduled outing on Tuesday.
