MacKenzie Gore allows four runs after dominant two-start stretch

Gore has a 2.77 ERA and 1.12 WHIP over his last five starts and lines up for a road start against Kansas City next week. He had allowed just one run across 12.1 innings over back-to-back quality starts against the Angels and Royals before Wednesday's outing, which produced his most runs allowed since giving up five to the Yankees on May 7.
