Montgomery missed the entire 2025 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery. He continues to progress in his rehab, throwing a 20-pitch live batting practice session on Wednesday. The Texas Rangers will evaluate how he recovers from the session before determining the next steps in his rehab. He is expected to return in early August.
