Chris Sale not sharp in Thursday's loss
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Fri, Jun 5th 9:55am EDT
Chris Sale allowed three runs on 10 hits and two walks while striking out six over 5 2/3 innings in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
A three-run third inning did Sale in Thursday evening, but the ace lefty just wasn't as locked in as he usually is during this outing. The 10 hits allowed go down as a new season high, and he needed 108 pitches just to get through 5 2/3 innings. Sale did battle to keep the Braves in it, but he ultimately dropped to 8-4 on the season. Still, his 2.23 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 29.3 K% are elite. Sale will look for a better result against the White Sox on Wednesday.
