Tigers right-hander Jack Flaherty allowed three earned runs across five innings in a no-decision on Sunday against the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Flaherty was decent in this one, as he walked just one while striking out seven. Although he allowed six hits, he kept the ball in the yard and gave his team a chance to win, something they would go on to do in walk-off fashion, taking Flaherty off the hook for a loss in the process. The veteran still owns an elevated 5.31 ERA through 14 starts, but his 4.13 FIP and 4.07 SIERA suggest he could see some positive regression moving forward, perhaps in his next start against the Guardians on the road on Saturday.
