Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson went 3-for-4 with a home run and a double in a 5-3 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Stephenson recorded three of the Reds' 10 hits on the afternoon, with his third-inning solo homer staking the Reds to a 2-0 lead at the time. The veteran backstop recorded his first three-hit effort of the season on Sunday while it marked just his fifth multi-hit effort in 49 starts. He is slashing .203/.297/.342 with five homers, 12 runs, and 18 RBI through 51 appearances on the campaign.
