Taylor Rashi has been traded from the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Minnesota Twins for cash considerations. Rashi was designated for assignment on Friday. (MLB Trade Rumors on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Rashi appeared in three games for Arizona this season, allowing four runs on three hits with a walk and four strikeouts in 3.2 innings. He struck out 22 batters in 16 innings over 10 appearances in the desert last year. The 30-year-old righthander has had good strikeout numbers in seven minor league seasons, punching out 320 batters over 257 career innings. The Twins have the sixth-highest bullpen ERA in the majors this season and Rashi is the team's latest attempt to find a cheaper source of help in the later innings.
