Jhoan Duran picks up 17th save Wednesday night
by Nate Miller | Phillies Correspondent | Thu, Jun 11th 9:05am EDT
Jhoan Duran allowed two hits and no walks while striking out one during a scoreless ninth inning in Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Duran worked around a pair of singles to keep the Blue Jays off the board and preserve a 7-4 win for the Phillies on Wednesday. This was a rebound of sorts for Duran, as he blew a save chance for the first this season on Tuesday night. The hard-throwing righty is now up to 17 saves with a 1.99 ERA and 34 strikeouts over 22 2/3 innings on the season.
