Tarik Skubal takes loss in return against Guardians

Tigers left-hander Tarik Skuball allowed three runs (two earned) across 4 2/3 innings while taking the loss in his return from the injured list on Saturday against the Guardians.
Fantasy Impact:
Skubal didn't pitch terribly in this one, but a pitch up in the zone was lifted for a home run by Daniel Schneemann in the third inning, accounting for most of the damage off of Skubal in his return. Ultimately, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch decided to pull his ace after 80 pitches, 53 of which went for strikes. All told, Skubal yielded five hits and a walk to go along with four strikeouts on the day. Skubal will carry a 2.81 ERA into his next scheduled start against the White Sox at home on Friday.
