Andrew Abbott rock-solid in no-decision Sunday versus D-backs

by Brenton Kemp | Reds Correspondent | Mon, Jun 15th 4:27pm EDT

Reds left-hander Andrew Abbott allowed one earned run on four hits across five innings in a no-decision on Sunday against the D-backs.

Fantasy Impact:

Abbott's lone blemish on the afternoon came on a solo homer surrendered to Tommy Troy in the second inning, as the other three hits he scattered came as singles. He did walk three batters, but also struck out five on the day. Sunday's outing was the ninth straight start in which Abbott has allowed three earned runs or less, with six of those outings featuring one earned run or less. The southpaw will take a 3.95 ERA into his next scheduled start this weekend on the road against the Yankees.
