Reds right-hander Chase Burns pitched five scoreless innings while picking up the win in a 12-0 victory over the Mets on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Burns wasn't dominant in this one as he allowed four hits and three walks in his five innings of work while needing an even 100 pitches to do so. However, he also struck out seven, and received more than enough offensive support to improve to a whopping 8-1 on the season. The young righty owns a tidy 2.01 ERA through 14 starts on the season and lines up to take on the Yankees in a tough road start this weekend.
