Santiago Espinal was designated for assignment on Tuesday. (David Vassegh on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Espinal had been filling a utility role for the Dodgers, batting .268 with one homer over 60 plate appearances while appearing at first, second, and third base this season. With Tommy Edman (ankle) rejoining the Dodgers ahead of Tuesday's game, Espinal was the odd man out.
