Martin Perez turns in a terrific performance Friday night
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Sat, Jun 20th 12:17am EDT
Martin Perez allowed one run on six hits and one walk while striking out five over six innings in Friday's 3-2 win over the Brewers.
Fantasy Impact:
Given an extra day to rest after Thursday's rain out, Perez delivered an excellent effort for the Braves just when they needed one Friday night. The 35-year-old lefty has now gone at least five innings while giving up three runs or less in five straight outings, posting a 2.66 ERA and 1.15 WHIP across 27 innings in that stretch. Perez has been a real asset in the Braves' rotation during the first half.
