Logan Webb steady on mound in loss to Marlins
by Chris Schommer | Giants Correspondent | Sun, Jun 21st 7:05pm EDT
Logan Webb allowed two earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five over eight innings in a 2-1 loss to the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Webb continues a strong stretch on the mound since returning from injury, allowing two earned runs or less in each of his last five trips to the mound. The right-hander has returned to offer manager Tony Vitello one of the few stable options in the Giants rotation, posting a 3.35 ERA and 1.12 WHIP with a 4-5 record and 7.6 K/9 ratio across 13 starts.
