Jake Bennett strikes out nine in no-decision

Jake Bennett threw six scoreless innings Monday against the Rockies but did not factor into the decision. He allowed four hits, all singles, with no walks and nine strikeouts. Bennett generated 15 whiffs and gave up three hard-hit balls while working with a 2-0 lead before Boston’s bullpen lost it in the ninth.
Fantasy Impact:
Bennett delivered one of the strongest outings of his young career at Coors Field and is lined up to start at home against the Yankees on Saturday.
