Mitch Keller done in by longball on Tuesday
by David Leisering | Pirates Correspondent | Wed, Jun 24th 6:19am EDT
Mitch Keller allowed three runs on seven hits with one walk and four strikeouts over six innings on Tuesday in Pittsburgh's 3-2 loss to the Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
All three runs off of Keller came courtesy of a pair of Seattle home runs - a solo shot by Cal Raleigh in the fourth and a two-run blast by Cole Young in the sixth. After allowing just one home run in his first six starts of the year, Keller has now surrendered eight over his last nine outings, including at least one in each of his last four starts. The righthander has pitched to a 6.75 ERA in four June starts and is 5-5 with a 4.89 ERA in 16 appearances this season. Keller is lined up to face the Reds in a home matchup on Sunday.
