JR Ritchie strikes out seven, struggles with control Tuesday night
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Wed, Jun 24th 9:40am EDT
JR Ritchie gave up five runs (four earned) on five hits and four walks while striking out seven over five innings in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Ritchie actually logged four scoreless innings around a five-run second frame in this outing. The rookie issued a pair of walks to get the Padres' rally started, but he rebounded nicely through the next three innings. This contest was not decided until the 10th inning, so Ritchie took a no-decision. He will move forward with a 4.87 ERA and 1.43 WHIP for the season.
