Grant Holmes allowed one run on three hits and five walks while striking out four over 4 2/3 innings in Monday's 1-0 loss to the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Holmes' spotty control continues to lead to early exits and limit his fantasy appeal. Granted, he couldn't help going just two innings in last week's rain-shortened start, but the righty has lasted five or fewer frames in 7-of-9 outings since the beginning of May. In that span, Holmes has turned in a 4.61 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, and 40-23 K/BB ratio across 41 innings.
