Tarik Skubal struggles with home runs in loss to Yankees Wednesday
by Brenton Kemp | Tigers Correspondent | Thu, Jun 25th 8:57am EDT
Detroit Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal allowed four earned runs, including three home runs, across six innings while taking the loss versus the Yankees on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Skubal only allowed four hits in his six innings of work, but unfortunately, three of them left the yard, two off the bat of Paul Goldschmidt, while Jasson Dominguez got him for a go-ahead two-run homer in the sixth. The left-hander has posted an underwhelming 4.96 ERA in three starts since returning from the injured list and will carry a 3.32 ERA into his next scheduled start, which is lined up for a rematch against the Yankees on Monday in New York.
