Brandon Woodruff strong on mound in no-decision
by Chris Schommer | Brewers Correspondent | Sun, Jun 28th 7:12pm EDT
Brandon Woodruff allowed one hit and two walks while striking out six over 5 2/3 scoreless innings in Sunday's loss to the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Woodruff continues an impressive stretch on the mound since returning from injury, holding opponents scoreless in each of his last two trips to the mound. The right-hander offers manager Pat Murphy another impactful starting option behind Jacob Misiorowski and Kyle Harrison in the Brewers rotation, carrying a 2.59 ERA and 0.84 WHIP with a 2-1 record and 8.9 K/9 ratio across eight starts.
