Shane McClanahan gave up three hits and no walks while striking out four across six scoreless innings in Wednesday's 4-0 victory over the Kansas City Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
McClanahan delivered one of his best starts of the season, giving up just three singles and not walking a batter for the first time since his May 31 start against the Los Angeles Angels. While he had a rough June with a 5.79 ERA, he started July on a strong note. He owns a 3.05 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with 77 strikeouts across 79.2 innings this season. He'll look to deliver another quality start in his next scheduled outing on Monday against the New York Yankees.
