Trevor McDonald allowed one hit while striking out five over six scoreless innings in Wednesday’s win over the Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact:
McDonald has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in four of his last six trips to the mound. The right-hander remains another inconsistent option in the Giants rotation for manager Tony Vitello to this point, posting a 4.42 ERA and 1.23 WHIP to go with a 3-6 record and 7.9 K/9 ratio across 11 starts.
