Davis Martin's control vanishes in loss to Guardians
by Chris Schommer | White Sox Correspondent | Fri, Jul 3rd 8:27am EDT
Davis Martin allowed two earned runs on six hits and five walks while striking out none over 3 1/3 innings in Thursday's loss to the Guardians.
Fantasy Impact:
Martin has struggled with control of late, walking three or more batters in three of his last four trips to the mound. The right-hander remains one of the more stable options in the White Sox rotation for manager Will Venable, carrying a 3.08 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with a 9-3 record and 8.4 K/9 ratio through 17 starts.
