David Peterson allowed 10 earned runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out three across 3.2 innings in Friday's 17-1 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
After a strong debut with the Chicago Cubs in which he allowed two runs over 5.2 innings, his second start was one to forget. He threw a scoreless first inning before surrendering a three-run homer in the second, three runs in the third, and five more in the fourth. He owns a 6.75 ERA and 1.67 WHIP on the season and is tentatively scheduled to make his next start on Thursday against the Orioles.
