Bryan De La Cruz signed a Major League deal with the Phillies on Sunday. (Todd Zolecki on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
De La Cruz had been in the Phillies' organization on a minor-league contract all season before opting out recently. The 29-year-old outfielder re-signed with the club Sunday morning and was added to the 40-man roster. De La Cruz will be sent back to Triple-A for the time being. Jean Cabrera was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.
