Tanner Gordon allowed five earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings in Sunday's win over the Giants.

Gordon continues a dismal stretch on the mound of late, allowing four earned runs or more in three of his last four contests. The right-hander cannot be trusted as a reliable starting option in an underwhelming Rockies rotation, posting a 6.95 ERA and 1.59 WHIP with an 0-2 record and 9.1 K/9 ratio through 11 appearances.
