Victor Mesa Jr. went 2-for-4 with a home run, one run scored and an RBI in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the New York Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Mesa opened the scoring Tuesday by launching a 367-foot solo homer off Will Warren in the second inning. While he owns just a .158/.261/.316 slash line across 19 at-bats in July, there are some encouraging signs, as he has reached base safely in three straight games and continues to see regular playing time with the Tampa Bay Rays dealing with several injuries.
