Samad Taylor has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain. (San Diego Padres on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Taylor was originally reported as day-to-day after tweaking his oblique, but he will now hit the injured list. The 27-year-old has been on fire since he was called up on June 3rd, slashing .330/.410/.398 with six stolen bases in 88 at-bats. Luis Rengifo was called up in a corresponding move.
