Christian Scott tosses five scoreless innings

Christian Scott did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Royals after allowing three hits and one walk over five scoreless innings. He struck out five while scattering three singles against a Kansas City lineup that had scored 31 runs over its previous two games.
Fantasy Impact:
Scott completed five innings for the first time since June 5 but has yet to work six frames in any of his 12 outings this season. He enters the All-Star break with a 3.17 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 65:26 K across 54 innings.
