Ryan Weathers allowed one earned run on six hits while striking out six over 5 1/3 innings in Friday's 5-3 win over the Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
Weathers has provided mixed results on the mound of late, allowing four earned runs or more in four of his last eight trips to the mound. The left-hander has given manager Aaron Boone one of the more risky starting options in the Yankees rotation after an impressive start to the season, carrying a 4.15 ERA and 1.24 WHIP with a 3-7 record and 10.1 K/9 ratio through 18 starts.
