Wilson has caught fire at the plate, driving in runs in each of his last four contests. The infielder continues to offer manager Mark Kotsay one of the few stable bats in a streaky Athletics lineup, batting .291 with seven home runs, 32 RBI, 30 runs scored, and two stolen bases across 61 games.
