Reds first baseman Sal Stewart went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in a 5-3 win over the Mariners on Wednesday.

The Reds appeared headed toward a loss into the later innings of Wednesday's contest, but Stewart's three-run shot in the seventh inning gave Cincinnati a 5-3 lead, one they would not relinquish. The rookie continues a strong campaign that has seen him hit .249 with 21 home runs, 74 RBI, 11 stolen bases, and a .799 OPS across 101 games.
