Andrew Abbott allowed two earned runs on three hits and four walks while striking out four over six innings in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Cardinals.

Abbott has provided mixed results on the mound of late, allowing three earned runs or more in three of his last six contests. The left-hander remains one of the more inconsistent options in the Reds rotation for manager Terry Francona, posting a 3.85 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with a 5-6 record and 1.7 K/BB ratio through 22 starts.
