Tyler Phillips allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five across five innings in Monday's 8-7 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
Phillips surrendered a two-run homer to Bryce Harper in the first inning but settled in nicely, retiring the next two batters and holding the Phillies scoreless over the following four frames. He was pulled after just 76 pitches, but still turned in a solid outing for fantasy managers. Phillips finished July with a 5.30 ERA and 1.55 WHIP while striking out 13 across 18.2 innings. His next scheduled start is on Saturday against the New York Mets.
