Zac Thornton allowed three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five across 6.1 innings in Monday's 14-3 win over the Atlanta Braves.
Fantasy Impact:
Thornton continued his impressive start to his MLB career on Monday, making his fifth big-league start and recording his fourth consecutive quality start. He allowed an RBI single in the first inning and a two-run homer to Ozzie Albies in the fourth but was otherwise effective. Through 29.2 innings this season, Thornton owns a 2.43 ERA and 0.91 WHIP with 22 strikeouts. He's lined up to make his next start on Saturday against the Miami Marlins.
