Christian Bethancourt signs minors deal with Yankees

The Yankees have signed Christian Bethancourt to a minor-league deal and have assigned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. (Bryan Hoch on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Bethancourt didn't crack the Cubs' roster out of training camp, and has hit .262 with 11 homers, five stolen bases, and a .775 OPS across 59 games with Triple-A Iowa. The Yankees have been in search of catching help approaching the Aug. 3 trade deadline with starter Austin Wells enduring a wildly disappointing season at the plate.
