Devin Williams tossed a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one walk and no hits while striking out two to earn the save in Thursday's 4-2 victory over the Miami Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Williams issued a leadoff walk to Heriberto Hernandez but quickly regained control, striking out Griffin Conine and Jakob Marsee before getting Javier Sanoja to pop out and end the game. The right-hander finished July with a 4.32 ERA and 1.92 WHIP while recording 10 strikeouts across 8.1 innings in nine appearances, converting four of six save opportunities.
