Javier Assad allowed one run on six hits and two walks while striking out six across 4.1 innings in Thursday's 4-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Assad's lone run allowed came on a Bryan Torres RBI single. He has not surrendered a home run in three straight outings and has allowed just one run across 8.1 innings during that span. He finished July with a 1.50 ERA and 1.28 WHIP across 18 innings. His next scheduled start is on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
