Jonathan Pintaro was called up from Triple-A ahead of Friday's game against the Marlins.

Pintaro has made five previous appearances for the Mets this year, posting a 5.11 ERA and 12-3 K/BB ratio across 12 1/3 innings. The 28-year-old righty will provide depth in the Mets' bullpen after A.J. Minter was traded away and Cionel Perez (forearm) landed on the IL.
