Andrew Painter allowed two earned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out six over six innings in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Orioles.

Painter kept the Phillies in it for a while, though the season-long mess isn’t fixed by one decent line. After the outing, he now has a 6.72 ERA and 1.61 WHIP with a 1-8 record and 59 strikeouts across 15 games. Painter's next start will come on Wednesday against the Nationals.
