David Peterson allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits without issuing a walk while striking out eight over 6.1 innings in Saturday's 5-2 win over the New York Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Peterson surrendered a 370-foot home run to Spencer Jones in the seventh inning but was otherwise dominant on Saturday. He recorded a season-high eight strikeouts and has logged quality starts in two of his last three outings. He also hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in any of his last four starts. Peterson is scheduled to make his next start on Thursday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
