Tyler Phillips earns win Saturday

Tyler Phillips allowed two earned runs on six hits and no walks while striking out three over five innings in Saturday's 6-2 victory over the New York Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
Phillips tossed five innings in his second straight start, needing just 65 pitches to complete the outing. The only damage he allowed came on a two-run homer by Tyrone Taylor in the second inning. The right-hander has not allowed more than two earned runs in a start in five straight outings and now owns a 3.53 ERA and 1.35 WHIP on the season. His next scheduled start is on Friday against the Los Angeles Angels.
