Kimbrel will be DFA'd in order for the Rays to make room for newly acquired starter Freddy Peralta. Kimbrel has been with the Rays since late May and will now look for a chance to sign with his third team this season. The veteran has a 4.81 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 33 2/3 innings pitched.
